Features: A modern masterpiece. Hans Wegner designed some of the most important wooden chairs of the 20th century. However, in 1950, he turned to chrome-plated steel in this modernist mixing of metal, plaited flag halyard cord, leather, and optional longhaired sheepskin. The shape of the chair's seat was conceived during a holiday in Århus, Denmark. The family spent many days on the beach, and using sand Wegner experimented with the shape of the seat. Extremely comfortable. Distinct.
