Designer Bettie Cott recently moved from Toronto, Ontario, where she was the owner and principal designer of her own furniture design studio, to San Francisco, California to join the Coalesse Design Group, to collaborate on items such as the LessThanFive Chair and the Enea Collection. In her blog post, below, Bettie gives us a look into what inspires her design work and a few of her favorite things.

What’s your favorite place to work? The Coalesse San Francisco office. I love coming here every day.
What’s your favorite thing about fall? The smell. Not too hard on the eyes either.
