2019 has been a wonderful year for office design. At the end of the year, we always love taking the time to look back at some of the remarkable spaces that have been completed over the past year and it’s always exciting to see the ways Coalesse products have been used in so many different spaces. Before we ring in the new year, we wanted to take a moment to highlight a few of our favorite designs of 2019.

If there’s one thing the Casanova//McCann offices have an abundance of, it’s color. From brightly colored conference rooms to striking wall art designed by graffiti artist Abel Leba, this workplace is full of visual interest. But it’s a space that’s colorful without being overwhelming. Throughout the office, Casanova//McCann’s vibrant branded colors are prominently featured, but are beautifully balanced with touches of neutral colors. In this lounge area, white Bob Lounge Chairs make a strong contrast to the colorful wall art.

Dairy Queen’s new headquarters in Bloomington, Minnesota take the fun, playful spirit of their brand personality and blends it with modern office design. While the space is full of whimsical touches that reflect the brand, like a two-story ice cream cone wall, there is no shortage of sophistication. The private meeting rooms pictured here reflect the company’s branding in a more understated way, with Massaud Conference Chairs upholstered in one of their signature shades of red.

One major goal for the new PTC global headquarters was to create an environment that would attract and inspire talent. To achieve this, they went with a fully open office environment that supports activity-based work through a large palette of place with many spaces designed to encourage natural interactions between employees. Each floor of the office features a work café where people are able to collaborate, socialize, or take a break. In the café pictured here, a Potrero415 Table creates a comfortable place for people to meet, whether they’ll only be there for a few minutes or to have a longer meeting.

As a tourism group, one thing TUI understands is how important it is to get away from it all every now and then. During their recent redesign, TUI’s offices went from being full of cubicles to being a very modern office space full of functional spaces that support a range of needs. This semi-private enclave with Hosu Lounge Seating offers a cozy place to focus while working alone or with a colleague. The yellow upholstery on the seating adds an energizing pop of color to the lounge while the slatted walls allow light to come in while still providing privacy.

As R&R Realty Group in West Des Moines was planning their new headquarters, one key thing they wanted from their new space was lots of room for collaboration. Throughout their office, you’ll find spaces that support many different types of collaboration, ranging from one-on-one conversations to large team meetings. In the space pictured here, groups have a convenient place to meet whether they need to have a simple conversation or participate in something like a webinar. The Bob Lounge Chairs help create a more relaxed, informal setting that helps put people at ease so they can be more productive.
