Salone del Mobile 2015: The Mecca of Design Welcomes Our New Collections

Salone de Mobile has just finished, and I feel like an 18-year-old girl waking up after her night at the prom: So many emotions, interactions and meaningful conversations … and we’re still thriving on all of the energy! This was our third year participating in the show, which is one of the top showcases for the furniture industry, attended by over 380,000 visitors each year, with 69% of attendees being from other countries.

Our themes this year focused on craftsmanship, customization and comfort, and we had the privilege once again of being among the best of the best of world-class designers in Hall 16, the show’s premier location.

We presented our three new collections to the public, and our design collaborators were on hand to engage attendees in very inspiring conversations.  Some of the highlights of the show included:

• Michael Young describing the ultimate craftmanship of the LessThanFive carbon fiber chair and the preview of our amazing new app that allows you to custom-design your chair’s finish.
• Manel Molina sharing his philosophy of a design that creates a calm space in a world that shouts, presenting Montara650, the universal seating collection for social & cafe spaces.
• Jean-Marie Massaud charming visitors with the concept of intuitive beauty applied to the new Massaud Conference Seating Collection and its almost endless possibilities for different applications.
