In 2002, Cory Grosser opened his boutique design studio, Grosser Design + Strategy, which specializes in leveraging beautiful design to create strong emotional connections between clients and their customers. That same year, he had his first international exhibition in Milan and secured his first consulting project from a Fortune 500 company. Since then, he has become recognized as one of America’s top independent product designers.
Grosser has won several design awards, including an ID Magazine Design Review Award, a Best of NeoCon Award, a Gold Award at IIDEX and an I.Dot selection representing the best of Italian Design. Surface Magazine named him one of the Top Avant-Garde Designers in America. His work has appeared in television and movies, been shown in exhibitions and museums, and featured in books and journals worldwide.
Cory’s career balances his design work with strategic consulting engagements and teaching the next generation of designers at Art Center College of Design in Pasadena. He has taught advanced studios sponsored by Chrysler, Roxy, Honda, Ford and Indy Racing League. He lectures internationally in cities as diverse as Milan, Toronto and San Salvador.
Born in Rochester, NY, Cory holds an Architecture degree from the State University of New York at Buffalo and an Industrial Design degree from Art Center College of Design.
Cory Grosser collaborated with Coalesse to design the NeoCon award-winning CG_1 Collection of occasional tables.
