Thousands of amazing new workplaces are designed around the world every year, and 2016 was no exception. As we look back at some of the wonderful spaces created over the past year, we’re very proud to see Coalesse office furniture were included in so many of them.
Above, SW_1 Lounge Seating and SW_1 Occasionaly Table create a break out space for a small group within a large meeting room at Intense Lighting headquarters in Anaheim, California. Design by Lundstrom & Associates Architects. Photography by RMA Photography. See more pictures on Office Snapshots.
While SPACE was in the process of creating a design for Gentera Innovation’s offices in Mexico City, they worked with two key principles in mind: flexibility and collaboration. The final result not only engages workers by giving them the ability to move around and collaborate when needed, their bold use of color keeps workers energized and inspired. We love this colorful meeting area featuring our SW_1 Lounge Seating and Sebastopol Table.

Gogo is a company that develops in-flight connectivity and entertainment systems for airlines, and their Chicago office is a very clever reflection of their industry. Aircraft-inspired elements are included throughout the office, and their reception area resembles a very modern airport lounge. Our Bob Lounge Seating gives visitors a welcoming place to sit while they wait for their appointment.

While redesigning Lenovo’s Tokyo offices, creating multiple collaborative areas throughout the space was a big priority for the Steven Leach Group. Our SW_1 Lounge Seating in red provides a perfect pop of color against all the black in this part of the office.

One of the biggest office design trends of 2016 was embracing the third place; relaxed areas where workers can retreat when they need a quiet place to either work alone or collaborate with others. Axis Insurance is right on top of that trend with this secluded area of their Chicago office, complete with a Massaud Lounge Chair.

Speaking of third places, workers at Intense Lighting’s headquarters in Anaheim have this calm, private area to work. The light green seats add a nice pop of color and look great next to the table from our SW_1 collection.
