Home / Creating Brilliant Work. Together.

At Fulton Market Design Days, Coalesse introduced an industry-first interactive installation that brought the power of collective energy and co-creation to life. Located directly outside the Steelcase WorkLife Center at street level, the pop-up was a breakthrough approach for experiential design, embracing the spirit of co-creation. Featuring our impressive partner collective — including Viccarbe, Tom Dixon, Moooi, FLOS and Extremis — the Co.Lab was built to cultivate curiosity, spark conversation and ignite collaboration within the design community.
Driven by human connection, the Co.Lab embodied our belief that brilliant work happens in the spaces where we come together. Ripples of light radiated outward when guests gathered, creating an interactive visual representation of how collaboration creates brilliance. The immersion built with layers of sound ebbing and flowing as people converged and dispersed in the space.

“We built the Coalesse Co.Lab because people crave spaces that aren’t just about what we can accomplish, but how we feel doing it and who we do it with — vibrant locations that easily invite them to connect and collaborate in comfort.”
A deeply textured sensory experience, the Co.Lab blended beautifully rich materiality with bold audio-visual elements, all while seamlessly interweaving Coalesse and our partner collective. The visionary pop-up provided visiting designers, architects and industry guests with a backdrop to engage with products, with ideas, and most importantly, with each other to explore the future of collaborative, forward-thinking design together.
During Design Days, Coalesse also presented an inspiring panel discussion with prolific designers Sebastian Wrong, Yves Behar and Tom Dixon centered around the lifecycle of an idea. The panel was moderated by Beatrice Galilee, internationally-renowned architecture and design curator, author and Founder and Executive Director of The World Around. We also hosted Designer Co.nnections, an opportunity for the design community to visit the Co.Lab and chat with design luminaries from our partner collective — Tom Dixon, Yves Behar, Dirk Wynants and Rubén Mateos Brea.
