Every detail of the new chair is driven by advanced engineering to assure optimized comfort from the inside out. Our science shapes a better chair to support productivity and generously fit the body.
The development of Massaud Conference Seating focused heavily on the science of comfort. The seasoned engineering team applied their experience and advanced research in seating ergonomics to develop the overall make and carriage of the new series chair. Nothing was overlooked, as even the smallest adjustments in curvature, foam density and mechanics made a difference to the way the chairs fit the body.
Like any good infrastructure, this precision engineering ultimately works from the inside out and is invisible in the outcome of the design. For example, the slender profile of the upholstered back creates a graceful silhouette, while reinforcing the correct angle for true back support—an unexpected delight for the sitter. The sub-structure of the seat has been sculpted for optimal support in conference settings, all while maintaining its sculpted look and residential appeal. Massaud Conference Seating exemplifies this marriage of technical and creative composition for inviting, engineered comfort.
The chairs also are imbued with an elegant scale and sense of refinement that are hallmarks of lasting style. Two sophisticated upholstery approaches—one firm and tailored, the other plush and duvet-quilted—fill out the graceful frame with the character of fine residential and classic office seating.
We developed multiple upholstery methods that allow us to respond to almost any type of material, all based on the weave or give of the fabric. Along with the options of mid and low back heights, up to three fabric combinations and a choice or arms and bases, each chair can be as personal and artful by its final composition as it is scientific in its comfortable fit.
When designing Massaud Conference Seating, we set out to create an option that was as comfortable as it was beautiful and supported the wellbeing of the occupant. Thanks to the science and engineering of seating, we feel we can offer a seat that will draw people in and encourage them to stay.
